Server Up Time

99% uptime means the server could be down for 8 hours per year.
The reality is servers crash for many reasons and when this happens you will be without emails/website.
Nobody can guarantee 100% uptime.

We have an alert notification if the server does go down, but this means totally down.
Sometimes the server is technically alive although useless to anyone when the wheels fall off, which means we don’t receive an alert.
If you feel the server is down, please check this link first before you contact us

A server reboot

A server reboot there will result in a small delay until the server comes back online.
When the server comes back online, there is a load of queued emails to process. Loads will spike for a few minutes and may knock some services out temporarily while this happens.
Although we attempt to schedule a server reboot to happen outside of peak times, sometimes this happens for reasons out of our control.
