If you belong to LinkedIn, DropBox and others the chances are that spammers of hackers have your email or password.
Just recently Facebook was hacked.
Email lists are being circulated amongst spammers increasing the volume of unwanted emails.
You may also start to receive ransom emails that cite your password plus your involvement with less desirable sites.
There is a site developed by Troy Hunt, a Microsoft Regional Director called “Have I been Pawned” which allows you to check if your email account or password is in the hands of other people.
I strongly urge you to check this site out and check your email account.
If you find your email account has been pawned then please check that your password is not in the public domain.
