We live a world of information overload.
Evernote is the the best software I have ever used making my life easier.
For myself, I use Evernote for organising data from personal to work-related items.
The data is held securely in the cloud that is accessible from Windows, Apple and Android operating systems.
Evernote is like plastic putty as you can organise and adapt the data to how you want.
Mail and Emails
So much data comes through the mail and emails such as:-
- invoices
- car registration notices
- taxation information
- insurance policies
- technical notes
- ideas
- to-do lists
The list goes on and on.
I used to file the information when I got round to it – the problem was I ended up with three filing cabinets to store the information.
Now all that information is stored on Evernote and categorised so I can retrieve anything through a simple search.
On the paid version you can even search for text within PDF files.
Anything email I just scan and file onto Evernote or send via to my Evernote email address.
Now when I have to find information is there at my fingertips, even if I’m away from home.
My wife uses Evernote was well which allows us to share data like the shopping list, to all our home accounts, holiday information – the list just goes on and on.
One of the neat features is the revisions of data, which allows you to go back to a previous note and retrieve the data, as sometimes you make a mistake.
